Antipolo City Mayor Casimiro “Jun” Ynares III, M.D. (right) and Gwangju City, Buk-gu District Mayor Mun In (left) signed a Memorandum of Understanding entered into by the two local governments which agreed to form a partnership for economic development exchanges and cooperation. Antipolo, one of the country’s top cities in terms of competitiveness and good governance, is home to the International Shrine of the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage while Buk-gu, a district in Gwangju Metropolitan City in South Korea, is home to various ecotourism and historical sites.
